When the Pantone color chart raises awareness of the tragedies in Syria

The Pantone color of the year 2017 is Greenery. Unfortunately, the green is not too present in a city like Aleppo, Syria, which is experiencing a tragedy and unprecedented chaos. To raise awareness of the living conditions of the Syrian people, the creative Erdam Omur (DA) and Merve Kurtulus (CR) had the idea to divert the Pantone color chart.

The idea: to divert photos of the tragedy by transforming some elements into Pantone cards. The opportunity to remind the world of design and communication that unfortunately, not everything is "green" in the world, let alone in Syria where families live every day terrible tragedies.
